Advanced Practice Nursing
Advanced Practice Nursing at Lakeland Regional Medical Center includes opportunities for clinical nurse specialists and advanced registered nurse practitioners.
Clinical nurse specialists continue to work closely with patients and their families to provide the best healthcare experience possible. Because you will be focused on specific patient populations, we make sure you have the comprehensive and specialized resources that you need. You'll be able to access in-depth research at both our general and medical libraries and take advantage of relevant continuing education programs. We rely on clinical nurse specialists in almost every field of nursing, which means career choices that match up with your interests.
Driven by passion, our advanced registered nurse practitioners work in various settings: orthopedic, neurologic and trauma clinics, as well as the hospital and mobile cancer screening unit. Enjoying autonomy and independence, ARNPs oversee a high level of care for patients and their families. They play a major role in fighting cancer in our community, providing screening services at our free standing Cancer Center, delivering intervention and treatment programs, and helping conduct research to find a cure.
