The buzz was that LRMC was a great place to work. So I decided to check it out and see what they had to offer. And I can say that the rumors are true – it’s great.

What kind of education or training have you received from LRMC? How was it beneficial? How has your career grown?
I immediately enrolled in LRMC’s GED program. It was one of the best things I’ve ever done. Not only has it provided me with further education, it’s made me feel better about myself. It’s given me the self-confidence I need both personally and professionally.

How would you say you have grown in your career at LRMC? Both personally and professionally.
Tremendously. On a professional level, there’s always an opportunity to learn new things. I’m expanding my knowledge and experience each day. Personally, I’ve become not so shy. I interact and talk with many different people throughout the day and that helps me to be more open.

What do you enjoy about LRMC?
I enjoy meeting new people. I also like the people I get to work with.

What is your proudest and/or most inspirational moment at LRMC?
What moved me most was my first day of work, when I met one of my coworkers. His words got right to me. He said “don’t be scared because you can do anything you put your mind to.” My proudest moment had to be when I completed another level toward my GED.

What makes LRMC different from other companies/hospitals?
There are so many opportunities here that are non-existent at other companies.

It’s a good place to work and the people are great.
